OH HEY LOOK
Somebody already started a new one of these blogs a while ago anyway! Now following. Mad props to the person who runs this one. :)
everyone is so annoying…
oreos might help…
mmmmm
But the bill has caused several problems for the Republican Party at a time when it desperately needs to reach out to women voters. The GOP lawmakers who advanced the bill out of the Judiciary Committee and unanimously rejected exceptions for rape, incest and health of the mother were all men. And during the debate over the rape exception, Franks said “the incidence of rape resulting in pregnancy [is] very low,” resurrecting an incorrect claim made by former Rep. Todd Akin (R-Mo.).
I try so hard to stay moderate, to understand the Republican Party platform, but it’s getting really goddamn hard.
Imagineyourotp I really do not care if you delete the blog or not. You keep threatening to delete it because people are sending you “whiny messages” about keeping it or passing it off, and what do you expect when you have a shit load of followers who love your blog? They will not just stop by saying, “don’t send me stuff”. Sorry, they won’t. They care or they are curious and it proved they liked you. A lot. Now, that does not mean they are not annoying, they probably are and you are probably really sick of it…sooo
Turn off your damn inboxes or delete the damn blog. You are being childish saying, “IN THIS MANY POSTS IMMA DELETE THIS BLOG.”
Like what is this Dragon Ball Z Freeza? “IN 30 MINUTES, I WILL DESTROY THE WORLD” -3 episodes later- “IN 15 MINUTES I WILL DESTROY THE WORLD- Pause for power up episode and then 4 more later- “IN 5 MINUTES I WILL DESTROY THE WORLD- LETS JUST MAKE A WHOLE DAMN SEASON TO GETTING ON WITH THE DAMN ACTION SHALL WE?!
That is you. That is how you are being. You know you are sick of the blog but yet you linger and hover and threaten others. Like, good riddance then delete the damn blog if you think shipping is “creepy and annoying” Well okay, that is your opinion, doesn’t make you right or wrong but if that is how you feel then do what you want. DON’T LET ANY OF US STOP YOU.
We appreciate you leaving the backlog up for us but if you are going to be rude and kind a bully to those who actually like your blog then its not worth it. Its not worth the attitude and you keep saying “ITS MY DAMN BLOG I DO WHAT I WANT.” Then do it.
Hello?
I’m a woman in America and I have never been oppressed.
I have been belittled and ridiculed, but never has it been by a man.
I have been belittled and ridiculed by the women in my life. Female teachers, female peers, my own mother.
The best teacher…
Sample size, etc.
And being belittled by one’s mother is par for the course.
I’m a woman in America and I have never been oppressed.
I have been belittled and ridiculed, but never has it been by a man.
I have been belittled and ridiculed by the women in my life. Female teachers, female peers, my own mother.
The best teacher I’ve ever met, who was the most supportive, was a man.
The friends who always have my back? Men.
My dad protected me from my mothers wrath.
Men are clearly not the problem.
All of this, yes. Yes. Good.
oh wow everyone pack up and go home because clearly this person is the spokesperson of all women everywhere and her experiences reflect every single person’s
Hey OP, so does your experience cancel out mine? Because my mom was awesome and gave up a ton to protect us from my dad, my favorite teachers were women (besides one male professor who I adore), and my female friends have always had my back. My male friends have as well, but I have five of them compared to the many more female ones.
Oppression isn’t just being treated badly. It’s about being inherently unequal. The fact that you will be paid less for the dollar is oppression. The inadequacy of the justice system for women, like under-reporting of rape out of fear and shame, is oppression. Policing women’s bodily autonomy, such as reproductive rights, is oppression. Moving outside the typical Western sphere, female circumcision and the murder of female babies is oppression. And hey, all of what occurs in the West occurs elsewhere and vice versa.
In your limited experience, women haven’t treated you well. I’m sorry about that; that fucking sucks. However, you’re looking from your sphere and not society as a whole. The OP isn’t a feminist obviously, but fuckingradfems may be (I’m taking a guess here), and part of feminism 101 is recognizing that women as a group share experiences under the patriarchy. Intersectionality addresses how women of different backgrounds, races, and orientations have different obstacles to deal with.
Men aren’t individually a problem all the time, but when they don’t stand up to their misogynistic friends, don’t bother to analyze their own desires and thought processes, and derail specifically female-centered conversations to address their own issues, then they are only causing issues. They’re not allies then. They’re only piggy-backing. Men as individuals can wreak havoc, as can women (such as your abusive mother). Men also suffer from different kinds of oppression, such as for their race, orientation, class, etc. A homeless man isn’t benefiting from male privilege, for example. Men as a group have a distinct advantage in overall society, though.
So OP, men are the problem as a group. There’s no problem with recognizing that.
one time this dude was being stupid so i said
“well you can’t spell stupid without u”
and he got really angry and shouted
“WELL THERE’S AN ‘I’ IN STUPID TOO”
